A $200,000 sports car deserves a fundamentally different level of care than a standard sedan. Wheel-lift towing places enormous stress on the suspension, steering components, and body of a vehicle that was engineered with precise tolerances. Even brief contact with a tow hook in the wrong location can score paint, crack carbon fiber, or bend delicate body panels. Standard chains scratch wheels. None of this is acceptable for a vehicle of this caliber.

NW Towing's luxury transport protocol was developed with input from exotic car owners, dealer service departments, and manufacturer-published towing guidelines. We use soft wheel-net tie-downs, never hook chains, and always confirm the manufacturer-specified tow points before loading. Our operators complete ongoing training specific to the brands they handle.

Before any luxury or exotic vehicle is loaded, our operator performs a full walkaround with the vehicle owner or their representative present. Every panel, wheel, glass surface, and visible interior component is photographed and logged. This documentation protects both the vehicle owner and NW Towing — it establishes a clear, timestamped record of the vehicle's condition the moment it enters our care.

We use a standardized digital inspection form with 24 condition checkpoints. The completed inspection is shared with the vehicle owner before we move. If any pre-existing damage is noted, it's documented clearly so there is never any confusion about when it occurred. This level of transparency is a non-negotiable part of every luxury transport job we perform.

Vehicles like the Lamborghini Huracán, Ferrari 488, McLaren 720S, and Porsche 911 GT3 sit as low as 3.5 inches above the ground in their lowest suspension setting. Loading these cars onto a standard flatbed at a typical 10° angle causes the front splitter, diffuser, or exhaust tips to contact the ramp before the car is fully loaded. Our operators use extended aluminum approach ramps and reduce deck angle to as low as 5° to eliminate contact entirely.

For vehicles with active air suspension that has failed in the lowered position, we carry external air supply equipment to temporarily raise the suspension to loading height before winching begins. For cars with no manual override, we use adjustable wheel scoops that carry the vehicle by its wheel rather than requiring it to roll up under its own suspension travel.
